Throughout the last 20 years I have enjoyed working closely with Glendon School’s students, parents, and staff in a variety of roles. This year, I am excited to serve as the Assistant Principal and Career Counsellor, and will be teaching Language Arts 8, as well as some Elementary Phys. Ed. classes. I delight in working with students of all ages, and discovering their own unique talents and interests.
My husband and I were both born and raised in St. Paul, Alberta. We have one daughter and two very spoiled cats! I have a Bachelor of Education Degree, and a Master of Education in Educational Studies. I love learning and engaging in conversations about providing the best possible learning opportunities for each of our students.
I take great pride in our school, and value the strength in team and community. My personal leadership philosophy promotes a collaborative approach, where we honour the different experiences, ideas, skills, and perspectives of one another, while working toward a common purpose – providing a safe, caring, and engaging learning environment that celebrates individual strengths, and seeks to improve student success and achievement for all.
I look forward to our continued work together and another amazing year!
