My name is Mr. Backer and I will be doing the Academic/Career Counseling this year, as well as facilitating off campus learning (work experience/RAP/Green Certificate). I have lots to share, but today I want to share about "Open Houses". Attending an open house at a post-secondary institution that offers a unique opportunity to explore your potential future. It allows you to experience the campus environment firsthand, meet with faculty and current students, and gather detailed information about programs and resources. This visit can help you make a more informed decision about whether the institution aligns with your academic and personal goals, and give you a sense of the community you'll be joining. Don’t miss this chance to get a real feel for your future academic home! At many of these events, application fees are waived or discounted if you apply that day as well!
